LANSING, Mich. — Sen. John Bizon, M.D. presented Senate tributes to Volunteer of the Year award winners Greg Czinder (top photo) and Neil Pettifor at Habitat for Humanity of Michigan’s Affiliates in Motion 2019 Conference in Lansing Tuesday night.
Czinder was named Barry County Habitat for Humanity Volunteer of the Year, and Pettifor was named Volunteer of the Year for Ionia County Habitat for Humanity.
“It is an honor to present these tributes to Greg and Neil for their volunteer work and service,” said Bizon, R-Battle Creek. “The awards demonstrate their deep level of commitment to serve their communities that only dedicated individuals can accomplish.”
This year, Habitat for Humanity’s annual learning conference, titled “From Service to Shelter: Serving Veterans, Engaging Veterans,” highlighted and celebrated military personnel who serve or have served our communities and nation.
